My main focus for this project was what brings us joy; Specifically, looking at our senses and feelings of nostalgia. I used forms and objects that most overlook and then deconstructed the drawings to create interesting abstract designs. I experimented playfully with different forms of line drawings, shadows and layers taking drawings further by adding additional development. I created a collection of interior elements on paper and hard surfaces that co-ordinate together that is refined for an interior setting. I aimed for them to reflect playful yet comforting feelings, selecting colours that reflect joy in our interiors. I created a blend of traditional and modern processes like I have in my previous work.
